Accredited Ofqual regulated national qualification in First Aid for Mental Health
All of our training courses are presented by fully trained and accredited mental health professionals: psychotherapists, psychologists, who are members of leading industry bodies - BACP, BPS, UKCP - ensuring that the content is presented in a safe and professional manner.
This 2 day course builds upon the level 2 award and covers a wider range of mental health conditions. Greater depth of detail on mental health problems and discussion of therapy and professional support that a person may need. The course is suitable for all but aimed at HODs or those in a supervisory position and who have responsibility for implementing a positive mental health culture within an organisation.

Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded the Ofqual regulated Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)/Award in Leading First Aid in Mental Health at SCQF Level 6. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement.
Everyone who completes the course gets:
The 1 day course is suitable for everyone. Learners gain comprehensive skills and knowledge on a range of mental health conditions. Learners who complete the course will be considered first aiders for mental health. They can be a point of contact within the workplace to support those who may have mental health issues.
Our Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health delivers a minimum of 6 hours of classroom based theory and practical instruction and is designed to instruct up to a maximum of 16 delegates. This training is delivered either face to face or online and takes place through a mix of guided learning and self study approx 50/50 split.

The Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health is an entry-level Ofqual (RQF) certified course for mental health awareness. Our Awareness Course delivers approx 3 hours of guided learning for up to a maximum of 16 delegates. This half day course is aimed at providing delegates with the knowledge and skills to start a supportive conversation, reduce stigma and be able to signpost the person towards professional help.

A Level 1 Award in Awareness for First Aid for Mental Health will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. There is no expiry of the qualification, but annual refresher training is recommended.
We work in partnership with you to deliver mental health services that are right for you. We provide an external source of support - an independent, personal service, that is not linked to the company or studio. Thus, individuals are less reticent to seek help if needed.
